Our journey began with a simple Facebook message in July 2024, when Dave posted about his ideas for an Acer tree.

I (Lee) commented, and we instantly connected.

Just a few weeks later, we established a Facebook group, which quickly evolved into a YouTube channel—please subscribe!—and now, five and a half months after our initial meeting, the LEATHERHEAD BONSAI CLUB has come to life.

 

Our goal was to create a welcoming environment where enthusiasts could gather without fear of judgment, regardless of whether they have the perfect tree or adhere to specific display rules (unless they choose to).

 

We envisioned a club free from red tape and regulations, where everyone can simply enjoy what they love and showcase their artistic tree creations as they wish.

We offer Bonsai Workshops, Demonstrations, and Care Guides, all driven by our passion for the art of Bonsai and our commitment to fostering a supportive community. We are truly honored to have you join us on this journey of growth and discovery.
