Our journey began with a random message shared on Facebook around july 2024, when Dave put a post up about what he could do with an Acer tree.

I (lee) commented and we just clicked.

A few weeks on and we had created a Facebook group , which then escalated into a YOUtube channel , (please do subscribe), and now 5 and 1/2 months after meeting each other LEATHERHEAD BONSAI CLUB was born.

 

We wanted to create a welcoming space where enthusiasts could come together without fear of judgment and having to have the perfect tree or have to follow any display rules (unless they want to).

 

we wanted to create a club where you don't have to worry about all the red tape and rules and regs, just come and do what makes you happy and display your artistic tree creations as you wish.
